G-d understands our language. We can pray to G-d in any language. It is good to get in the habit of praying to G-d in a manner of talking to Him. A simple prayer would be something like "G-d, please help me pass this exam."
If you prefer a prayer from one of the Old Testament books, then an appropriate prayer would be Psalm-121. The central theme of this Psalm-121 is the general assistance G-d provides us, and our success being dependent on G-d.
